Legal
Privacy Policy.
Your trust matters to us. This page explains, in plain language, what information amarkhade.com collects, why, and how we look after it. We keep things simple: we collect only what we need to respond to you, keep you updated if you ask us to, and offer a good, secure experience — nothing more.
1.Who We Are & Scope
amarkhade.com is operated by Amar Khade, a sole proprietor based in Chandrapur, Maharashtra, India. This Privacy Policy applies to the Website, the contact form, the newsletter signup, and any Store purchases made directly through the Website. It should be read together with our Terms and Conditions and Refund / Cancellation Policy. We aim to meet the standards expected under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and its rules, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and — for visitors from other regions — good-practice principles found in the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
2.Information We Collect
We only collect what's genuinely needed to help you and to run the Website well:
- Contact form details — your name, email address, the reason for reaching out, and your message, when you choose to write to us;
- Newsletter email address — only if you choose to subscribe;
- Order details — name, shipping address, email, and phone, only if and when you place a direct order through the Store (see Section 5 on payments);
- Basic technical data — standard, non-identifying information your browser shares with any website (such as browser type and general device information), used only to keep the site working smoothly;
- Installed-app data — if you install amarkhade.com as an app on your device, a small offline cache is stored locally on your device (see Section 4) — this never leaves your device.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data (health, financial account numbers, government IDs, etc.) through the Website, and payment card or UPI details are never seen or stored by us — see Section 5.
3.How We Use Your Information
We use the information above only to:
- Respond to your message or enquiry sent via the contact form;
- Send you the newsletter, if you've asked to receive it, and let you unsubscribe whenever you like;
- Process, fulfil, and communicate with you about a direct order, if and when the Store supports direct purchases;
- Keep the Website secure, fast, and working correctly across devices;
- Meet legal, tax, or regulatory obligations where applicable.
We do not use your information for automated profiling, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.
6.Data Storage, Security & Retention
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures — consistent with the IT (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011 — to protect any information you share with us, and we only keep it for as long as reasonably needed to respond to you, fulfil an order, or meet legal/tax record-keeping requirements, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
7.Your Rights
Wherever you're writing to us from, you're welcome to ask us to:
- Tell you what personal information we hold about you;
- Correct any information that's inaccurate or out of date;
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it for legal reasons;
- Withdraw consent (for example, unsubscribe from the newsletter) at any time;
- Ask us not to use your information for a particular purpose.
These reflect rights available under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and — for visitors from the EU/UK or California — align with GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection) and CCPA/CPRA (know, delete, opt-out of sale — noting again that we never sell data). Just write to us at the email in Section 12 and we'll help.
8.Children's Privacy
The Website is intended for general audiences interested in personal-development writing and is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us and we'll remove it promptly.
9.International Visitors & Cross-Border Data
We're based in India, and any information you share with us is primarily stored and processed in India. If you're visiting from outside India, please note your information may be processed in India or in the country where our newsletter or payment-gateway providers host their services, each of which maintains its own safeguards. By using the Website, you consent to this, consistent with GDPR's cross-border transfer principles where they apply to you.
10.Grievance / Data Protection Contact
If you have any concern about how your information is handled, we genuinely want to hear about it and put it right quickly. In line with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules, you can reach our Grievance Officer directly:
Grievance Officer: Amar Khade

11.Affiliate Program Data
Affiliate Program Terms — version 1.0, added 10 July 2026.
If you join our affiliate program via the Earn page, we collect additional information beyond what's described above, solely to run your Affiliate account:
- Full name, WhatsApp number, and email address — collected at sign-up, used to create your account, generate your referral code, and contact you about the program;
- Referral and sales activity — which of your links or codes were used, and the resulting sale amount and commission, so your dashboard can show accurate, itemised earnings;
- Bank account or UPI details — collected only once you request a payout, used solely to send that payout. Access to this information is restricted to you and to Amar Khade for the purpose of processing payouts, and it is never sold or shared with any third party.
This data is retained for as long as your Affiliate account is active, plus any period required to meet tax or other legal record-keeping obligations. You can ask us to review, correct, or delete this information at any time, subject to the same limits described in Section 7, and to our need to retain sale and payout records for legal and tax purposes.
12.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time as the Website, Store, or applicable law evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version, and any material change will be communicated via the newsletter or a notice on the Website where appropriate.
